Re: Big Guns For the Big Game.

John,

Yes, terrific work.  What time do they open?  Coming from Sta Barbara or Palisades no problem, I can be there as early as you like.

Early is even easier for the LB cadre nearby.   And the reason I ask is early just might give Doug s chance to join us, and still have time to get back to LA for Erica's track meet.

As soon as I hear from Doug--if he can come/what time that works for him, we can make a change if necessary.  Let me know if there is any time that is not workable for any of you from, say, noon to 4p.m.  Will finalize time by Monday.  As of now, noon.

Re: Big Guns For the Big Game.

Sounds good.    I'm sure the food will be good, better than Ketch Yawl Schooner or Later.
Ok, you can't judge a book by it's cover.   But with a name like Schooner or Later,, how could the food be any good?  Are you familiar with the piece de resistance?  They call it- wait for it, drum roll.... "The Mess"!   Checked their star entree out.   It really IS.   A godawful mess.

The Boathouse menu looks much better.   Good choice!

Re: Big Guns For the Big Game.

Good deal!   Still, maybe give Denise a second chance to do the right thing.   Afterall, if "Groups Welcome", they would have to make reservations.  No other way.

But the Boathouse sounds good.   Food's probably as better as is the name- a helluva lot better.
